I recently came across this interesting and inspiring info graphic from the Northland School Division in Northern Alberta.
It supports a restorative strength based approach to engaging with the community you work in and with, and puts the students at the centre. Its an interesting way to approach community and parental engagement at the school you work with, and acknowledges that it's an ongoing process, which takes times and requires preparation.
Would a community engagement committee/team be something that would work in your community or school?
